Oh WOW when I clicked on the link and saw this it was like my stomach-- I don't even know what would be a good word to describe what it did but HOLY CRAP IS THIS GORGEOUS!
It is amazing. Truly. I can't stop staring at it. And your other drawings have done that to me too because you're so good at eyes but this one feels like I'm trapped by Tom. It's hypnotizing.
My sister would also like to add that she loves it.
I just keep saying "LOOK at it!" over and over again.

You always do wonderful eyes, but what really strikes me in this picture is his mouth. And his cheekbones. I really love this picture - the angle, the shading...it's very good.

I was least satisfied with his mouth, actually, so it's good to hear that you think it was ok :)

I think it's odd to say this, but his bones are lovely. Just. . .his face structure! I can't get over that.

oh, and his eyelashes.

Haha, his highlighted eyelashes were a last minute thing, but I quite like them, and I'm glad I included them :P

Mmmn, your cheekbones are always so beautiful. I love the sweep of his hair and the blue tints in it, too. ♥

And his eyes were only ever described as being "dark" (much as I would like him to be more like Harry with green ones :p), as far as I know.

You know, I actually gave him really piercing green eyes to begin with, then remembered that actually he /didn't/ have green eyes and changed them to red. I couldn't think of a way to make 'dark eyes' glow, like I could for red eyes :P

Wow! This one quite literally took my breath away! He's goreous in a creepy, just on the edge of madness kind of way! lol - and % love it!

And in the books it is never mentioned what colour Tom's eyes were before they became red, just as you said, it says they're "dark" but nothing else :(

But lovely, lovely, lovely work as always!

I've been lurking around here for a while, but I just wanted to pop in and say that I've really been enjoying your work -- and this piece is really cool. He looks all sad and staring off into the distance, but you just know that he could snap his attention back at you at any minute and you really wouldn't like it. And the purple of his lips is awesome.

Guh... gorgeous colors. I love the highlights in his eyelashes and the red eyes, of course. He looks so dangerous and sexy... not too sexy, but a sharp sort of sexy that's all the more appealing.

And those beautiful colors! What did you use to paint this?

I used tablet and photoshop, although I do plain pencil sketches just as often. I find pencils so much more natural :P

I borrowed it from my local library, then downloaded them into iTunes (which took a while) and viola! I'm happy that you got an ipod for christmas. They are such a wonderful creation. I have it with me all the time :P

Randomly surfing by--and oh wow. I totally had to comment on this.

I don't know what to say about this picture other than I absolutely love it. The colour--the pose, the tiny tilt of his head....it all works together wonderfully. It's stunning.

I like his mouth best. For some reason it reminds me some old, badly shot photo of Tom. Not that the picture is bad! But rather, the fact that it had that amateurish, I-cut-half-his-head-off photo feel makes it very personal.

I personally think Tom had dark brown eyes before he went bad, and dark brown is really only a much darkened state of red. So as he got more evil, the lighter his eyes got in colour.

Dark brown seems very likely - I still wish Rowling would actually state it though. Makes things easier :P
