spiders

Yesterday morning there was the biggest effing spider in the sink that I've ever seen. I think I stood in the bathroom a good 10 minutes, just staring at the thing in horror whilst trying to decide what to do. It was so HUGE, I didn't want to try bashing at it since that would involve getting my hand near it, definitely didn't want to try scooping it into a cup, and was too nice to just leave it and let my flat-mate deal with it later. In the end I turned the hot-water tap on it. 
THEN today as I was working on my tute, I saw another spider crawl across my desk. Scared the living daylight out of  me! Also it was exactly the same kind as yesterday, only smaller. Maybe the big spider's offspring has come for revenge? I think I screamed and then hit it with my flipflops.

I used to like spiders that lived in my country house. But they were never too big and they didn't sneak up on me)))

I don't think I can ever bring myself to like spiders,however tiny they were. *shivers*

Aah. Brave! I bought a second hand book on philosophy of law and was reading it without contacts so I was right up close to the book. Turned a page and there was a bug trapped there.

I hate spiders. Can't even stand itty bitty ones. This time of year they start to show up. We went to target and despite the huge picture of a spider on the can, we bought a Spider Spray. Not bug but spider spray killer. Then some spider traps kinda like roach traps I think. So we're ready for them! LOL

My goodness... I would totally freak out if I were you! Spiders are so horrible! I know it's not their fault, but that doesn't change my disgust.
