I only recently heard about Vampire Knight because of the anime they're showing at the moment. I quite like the art style, especially Zero! Just by chance I saw on a thread about Zero biting Kaname in the manga so I thought I HAD to go see that chapter. And it was glorious XD

as much as i lovelovelove kaname, the biting scene really was A++. something about seeing kaname in a subservient position makes me all flustered asdfkjl; did you end up plowing through the manga (i pled...not innocent) or focus on that one scene only?

Aha! I cut the chase and focused on that scene only. I plan to just follow the storyline by waiting for the anime to come out weekly. Reading through the manga seems like too much effort at the moment, but of course if I really get into it (like I did for Prince of Tennis) I usually end up reading the manga in the end :D
